I love the Holiday Season. It is the time of year when I get to see family members that I rarely get to see because life can be so busy. My favorite holiday tradition is when my immediate family get together on Christmas Eve to eat dinner and then open gifts. We love to sit around the kitchen table telling stories and picking on each other in our own fun way. I look forward to this every year.
I have lived here in St Louis since I was 4 yr old. I feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful city. We have so many wonderful free or cheap things we can do here. Speaking of St Louis I have come to meet some great St Louis deal bloggers- Jeri @ Coupon STL, Cristi @ The Kings Court IV, Angie @ Short On Cents, and Brandi @ Saving with Brandi !! We always read twas the Night Before Xmas together before we set out the cookies and milk for santa just like my parents did with me when i was a child. Now that the kids are getting older we have a designated child every year who reads the story and is then the one to pass out presents xmas morning. We also open just one present a piece on xmas eve before we read our story. they shake presents all week long deciding which will be theirs to open that night!

My family and I open up presents then we all get in the kitchen and make cinnamon rolls. And with all the extra help it seems to take forever. Then we usually put toys together and watch the kids play while we all drink cocoa and then we go to my families house and eat a huge dinner!
